Luis Carlos Garay Martin del Campo is the founder and Ceremonial Leader of Casa de los Abuelos, a community dedicated to preserving ancestral wisdom while creating meaningful bridges between tradition, modern life, and personal development.

A first-generation Mexican-American, Luis grew up between Mexico and the United States, an experience that shaped his appreciation for culture, family, tradition, and the different ways people understand the world. His professional path has been equally diverse, spanning finance, entrepreneurship, organizational development, leadership, and public speaking.

Professionally, Luis has built much of his career in the mortgage industry, where he works as a Loan Officer and independent mortgage professional. His work has given him extensive experience helping individuals and families navigate complex financial decisions, real estate transactions, and homeownership. Over the years, he has developed a leadership style centered on creative problem-solving, communication, relationship building, and finding practical solutions to complicated situations.

Luis is also an active public speaker and member of Toastmasters, where he continues developing his abilities in communication and leadership. His experiences in business and entrepreneurship have shaped his approach to building organizations, developing teams, and turning ideas into sustainable projects with a long-term vision.

In 2023, Luis founded Casa de los Abuelos as the culmination of another important part of his life's work. Rather than viewing ancestral traditions and modern society as opposing forces, he believes there is value in creating a responsible bridge between the two. Casa de los Abuelos was created around that idea: honoring the knowledge carried through generations while developing structures, education, community, and practices capable of serving people in the modern world.

As the organization has grown, Luis has helped develop its ceremonies, educational teachings, member programs, safety practices, organizational structure, retreats, and long-term vision. He has also recorded an expanding body of lectures and teachings exploring personal development, spirituality, human behavior, ancestral traditions, and the lessons he has gathered through his own experiences.

His long-term vision extends beyond individual ceremonies. Luis is working toward establishing a permanent retreat and community center where education, nature, agriculture, ancestral traditions, responsible ceremonial practice, and modern life can exist together. A central part of that vision is building Casa de los Abuelos into an institution capable of continuing beyond its founder and serving future generations.

Across his work in business, finance, entrepreneurship, public speaking, and ceremonial leadership, a common theme has emerged: building things that help people move forward. Luis believes leadership is not simply about holding a position, but about recognizing problems, developing people, creating systems, and leaving behind something meaningful for those who come next.

That philosophy remains at the heart of his work with Casa de los Abuelos.

Rocko is a facilitator of human development processes, a psychotherapist, and a musician focused on holistic healing and the expansion of consciousness. After training as an engineer and working in the transnational corporate sector for five years, he experienced a profound crisis of meaning at the age of 27 that led him to seek answers in spirituality and self-discovery.

This journey deeply connected him with Native American traditions and shamanism, driving him to pursue continuous training over the past 10 years as a traditional healer in the Peruvian Amazon. This commitment and rigor allowed him to found the first medicine community in Monterrey, and today, at 41 years old, he guides groups across various cities in Mexico and the United States.

To provide solid and safe support, he grounds his practice in his Master's degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Escuela Gestalt Viva. Over the past four years, he has channeled his clinical and spiritual experience into facilitating talking circles, creating spaces for vulnerability, reflection, and personal growth.

With over 20 years of experience as a musician and multi-instrumentalist, he integrates sound as a direct vehicle for healing. Through his voice, guitar, and harmonica, he builds soundscapes designed to facilitate introspection, catharsis, and critical thinking, merging art with the authentic reconnection of the self.

I am a mother of three children and a grandmother of seven. My journey with medicinal plants began when I was a yoga teacher, and since then, they have become an important part of the way I understand health, food, nature, and life.

Medicinal plants have taught me much more than their properties. They have led me to live with greater awareness and to understand that our gifts and knowledge take on true meaning when we put them at the service of others.

I also serve through my work with older adults, where I find a meaningful way to accompany, care for, and support others.

Cooking is one of my greatest passions. I believe food should be healthy and mindful, using ingredients as a way to nourish, care for, and create well-being. Cooking is also a way for me to share, give thanks, and express love.

Learning, sharing, caring, and serving are all part of the same way of living for me.

Lillie Cortes is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), psychedelic coach, educator, and mentor whose work centers on trauma-informed preparation, integration, and the transformational potential of psychedelic experiences.

Her approach weaves together somatic and psychological understanding with deep respect for the ceremonial, spiritual, and traditional contexts in which plant medicines have long been held. She believes that meaningful integration is not simply about understanding an experience, but about helping its insights become embodied and reflected in how we live, relate, and move through the world.

Lillie has completed extensive psychedelic training through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) and Fluence and continues her development through ongoing mentorship, consultation, and study. Her background also includes advanced training in trauma, attachment, nervous-system regulation, and experiential approaches to healing.

As Director of Integration & Mental Health at La Casa de los Abuelos, Lillie supports the development of thoughtful preparation and integration practices while helping create a safe, grounded, and compassionate container for each person's journey.
